Classroom Session
The classroom session with students focused on building knowledge, life skills, and positive attitudes aligned with the Health and Family Life Education (HFLE) curriculum. The session created a safe and supportive learning environment that encouraged open discussion, respect, and active participation.
Health and Family Life Education Workshop
The Health and Family Life Education (HFLE) workshop for HFLE teachers in Jamaica brought together educators to strengthen their understanding of HFLE curriculum content, instructional strategies, and assessment practices. The workshop aimed to build teachers’ capacity to deliver HFLE with confidence, relevance, and sensitivity to the cultural and developmental needs of Jamaican learners.
Behaviour Change Support Service Team ACES Training
The Behaviour Change Support Service Team engaged in ACES (Adverse Childhood Experiences) Training to enhance their role in supporting student behaviour and well-being through the Health and Family Life Education (HFLE) framework.
Mental Health Day

Mental Health Day was observed to raise awareness about mental health, promote emotional well-being, and reduce stigma associated with mental health challenges. The activities aligned with the Health and Family Life Education (HFLE) framework, emphasizing self-care, resilience, and healthy coping strategies.

Word Aids Day
World AIDS Day was observed to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS, promote prevention, and reduce stigma and discrimination. The activity aligned with the Health and Family Life Education (HFLE) curriculum, emphasizing responsible decision-making, healthy relationships, and respect for persons living with HIV.
Evening of Excellence

Evening of Excellence is a formal event hosted by the school to recognize and celebrate students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance, leadership, and involvement in extracurricular activities.

Crocs and Socks Day (MGTHS)
Crocs and Socks Day is a fun, spirit-themed dress-up day often celebrated in schools to encourage creativity and student engagement. On this day, students wear Crocs (or any similar slip-on shoes) paired with fun, colorful, or mismatched socks.
Menstrual Health Day (MGTHS)
Menstrual Health Day, also known as Menstrual Hygiene Day, is observed every year on May 28. It aims to raise awareness about the importance of good menstrual health and hygiene for people who menstruate around the world.
Student’s Appreciation Day (MGTHS)
Student Appreciation Day is a special day set aside to recognize and celebrate the hard work, dedication, and achievements of students. It’s an opportunity for teachers to show gratitude for students’ efforts in learning, personal growth, and contributions to school life.
Children’s Day (MGTHS)

A mock interview is a simulated job interview experience designed to help students or job seekers practice and refine their interview skills in a supportive environment. This exercise typically involves a structured session where participants are asked common interview questions relevant to their field or career goals.

Talk Up Yout

Talk Up Youth” is an initiative dedicated to amplifying the voices and perspectives of young people, empowering them to actively participate in shaping their communities and futures. Through open dialogue, advocacy, and mentorship, this program cultivates leadership skills, fosters self-expression, and promotes civic engagement among youth.
